Students have been working hard in all classes to complete assessments as we move toward the February reporting period. Grade 12 students studied the fall of the Batista government in Cuba and the Rise of the Fidelistas. Grade 11 continued looking at Japanese Aggression and the American response up to and including 1941. In grade 10, we finished looking at Italian Unification. The grade 9 class studied how Hitler was able to consolidate his power after becoming Chancellor in February of 1933. The Grade 8 class was busy finishing up its assessment on the culture of ABIS and creating visual profiles of the cultures they represent.
