Last week we decided to do a science project for our unit of inquiry senses. We wanted the children to explore their sense of touch by making slime. For Language we recorded the students descriptive words to explain the textures they were experiencing. They then had to follow the recipe instructions. For Maths the students helped measure the ingredients and were introduced to ordinal numbers for each step of creating the slime. For science the students had make a hypothesis and then reflect on their experiment.
