This week the Grade 6 community was getting to know one another. We worked in lots of different groups and shared information about ourselves.
On Thursday, the Grade 6s learned about microscopes from our secondary Science teacher, Mr. Lopez. We learned the parts of the microscope and how to use them to look at some simple slides. The students demonstrated both respectful and safe lab behavior.
Our classroom schedule is still in the process of being adjusted, so I will send you a copy when it is set. The students have swimming on Sundays and should have their suits and towels ready.
It has been lovely getting to know the students in the class. They are a fun bunch.
