Busy week finishing off topics with the grade 11 students, in preparation for the exam week. The Biology students were learning about evolution and natural selection, and took their first final test on Thursday (paper 1). The Chemistry students were finishing with the chapter on chemical equilibrium and practicing problems.
We had the grade 6 students also visiting to have a taste of secondary Science for next year, performing a CSI investigation to find out who kidnapped the science mascot the night before. They were very engaged and looked very professional on their lab coats.
Today we will celebrate the graduation ceremony for the grade 12 students (most of them I have been teaching for 4 years!!!!).
Finally, next week all students will be attending final exams.
After that, two more weeks and the summer holiday is here… times flies when you are having fun.
