Grade 7s have enjoyed their study of suspense stories. They enjoyed curling up with the Roald Dahl classic story “Lamb to the Slaughter”, and discovered that there is a whole new side to Roald Dahl beyond James and the Giant Peach. It showed the how authors can have multiple genres that they write in, and that suspense doesn’t have to be scary to be memorable.
