Tuesday night we returned to school for the Grade 1 and 2 Arts Evening. It was exciting being able to perform for all our parents.
We loved seeing Grade 1s performance too.
Our weather dance had many components and we were proud of how well we performed it on the day. Dancing with an umbrella required some skill and great spatial awareness. It added the element of surprise to the dance and we knew there was a chance the umbrella might not work as we hoped. When something unexpected happened we tried our best to carry on with the performance.
As well as the Arts Evening, we also had our student Led Conferences this week. We enjoyed discussing our learning in our home language with our parents and felt proud showing them our work. We practised leading our conference with our Grade 5 buddies.
