Grade 6s continued work on their Exhibition research this week. As of today, we are half way through the Exhibition! Next week will be our final week to collect research, then we will start sorting and connecting our findings. Students are preparing well for their mentor meetings each week. The mentors are impressed with the knowledge the Grade 6s are communicating.

Continuing with the anti-bullying month of activities, we worked with our buddies to help them differentiate between small and big problems. The Grade 6s are very supporting and patient big buddies, the K3s love working with them!

To prepare for their time in the LC3 lab with Mr Taylor this week, students in Grade 6 learned about lab safety and the parts of a microscope.

We also had fun this week showing off our school spirit: students were prepared for pajama day and wacky tacky day!

I am glad to hear that many of the students are talking about their Exhibition topics with family at home. This is a great way for them to clarify their understanding and realize areas that might need additional research.
Have a great weekend!
Ms. Sarah
