The ABIS Student Council is pleased to announce our third annual SPIRIT WEEK here at ABIS next week, March 25th – 29th!
Spirit Week will be the same week as the Swim Gala, giving students a chance to show their school spirit by dressing up according to each day’s theme.
Sunday, March 25th: Rainbow Day
Wear as many colors of the rainbow as possible to make ABIS colorful! Or team up with your class to bring “ROY G. BIV” (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet) to life!
Monday, March 26th: Dress Down Day
Wear your normal, non-uniform clothes (that still fit with our respectful dress code)!
Tuesday, March 27th: Pyjama and Stuffed Animal Day
Come to school in your favorite, school-appropriate jammies, with your favorite stuffed animal brought along for a day at school!
AFTERNOON MOVIE IN MAZOON on Tuesday, March 27th!
Stay after school to watch High School Musical 2 (rated TV-G) in Mazoon, starting at
3:30pm! Tickets are 500bz and can be purchased at the door. Popcorn and juice will be sold at intermission: 200bz each or 300 for a combo pack. Students must be picked up at 6pm.
Wednesday, March 28th: House Colors Day and Swim Gala
Wear your House Colors to really celebrate the Swim Gala! We’ll start the day with a ABIS community photo on the field at 8:30. Don’t forget your swimming costume as well!
Thursday, March 29th: Wacky-Tacky Day
Dress up in the craziest clothing combination you can! Colorful socks, zany hats or hair- dos, stripes with polka dots…if it’s wacky, it will work!
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
• Clothing should be “school appropriate,” meaning it must cover shoulders and knees and not
be revealing.
• Clothing should be loose and not tight fitting.
• Students should come to school in appropriate shoes.
Spirit Week is voluntary, but we hope to see everyone participating! Please note that students who are not dressing up for the special days must be in school uniform; these days are not just an excuse to “dress down.”
