The IB Diploma Programme Subject Selection presentation and open house for Grade 10 students and parents took place on the evening of the 16th. During the presentation, the DP teachers shared which types of learners would benefit from their subjects, the level of work expected from students, and possible careers for the future.

After the presentation, students and parents had the opportunity to ask each teachers subject-specific questions. Mr. Jeremy Handcock, a University and Careers Counselor, was also available via Skype to address questions about college admissions requirements. Overall, it was a very fruitful evening as questions and doubts were addressed. The next month will be devoted for individual student/parent consultations, with final subject selections being made in late February.
