I hope everyone enjoyed the winter break, the students have returned to school refreshed and eager to learn. This week we read the story The Sunflower that went Flop and concentrated on comprehension questions about the story.
In maths we began working on skip counting problems and finding ways to record the data to enable us to read and understand the problem.
Some students found seeds in the school grounds, so in UOI we planted them and are hoping to watch them grow and change. We have also begun to look interruptions to life cycles. In particular at the negative effects of littering on wildlife. The students looked at way that they personally can help reduce the risks.
