Students were kept busy while Ms. Sarah was away. They completed their stories and had a chance to share their best paragraph with their classmates.
We did a check in with the goals that we set last week at the Three-Way Conferences. Some students are taking steps to achieve their goals, some students forgot what their goals were! We got on track with our goals and are finding ways to achieve them. We will check in with the goals again in December.

Students have been doing some extra practice with Ms. Briar to prepare for their upcoming Grade 6/7/8 dance performance. The complex performance involved spoken word, movement and dance.

Tuesday November 20th is World Children’s Day. Grade 6s will be talking about issues facing children around the world and possible ways they could take action and help.

There was a notice that went home earlier in the week notifying parents about cases of lice in our classroom. Please check you email, as I will send it out that way, in case the notice did not make it home.
Sunday we are celebrating National Day here at ABIS. Please have your child wear traditional dress or Omans colours: red, white and green.
Have a great weekend,
Ms. Sarah
