Week 2 of the school year is rather short but extremely productive. There is a real buzz in LC 2 (secondary building) as students begin to feel more comfortable in their new learning environment. Students have already set their first goal for the year, which they have also discussed with their advisors. Aside from being comfortable in LC2, it was great to see how our students take responsibility for maintaining the tidiness of the school. Last Wednesday, the Blue Dolphins and the Yellow Foxes did an excellent job organizing and cleaning the learning spaces and common areas.
The highlight of my week happened to be a lunch meeting with the Student Council officers. They recounted their accomplishments last semester, and discussed the exciting projects ready to go this year. The student body is fortunate to be represented by a group of enthusiastic and committed student leaders.
On behalf of the team, I would like to invite you to the Parent Information Evening on the 11th of September. The secondary presentation will begin at 6:45 in LC2. This will be a great opportunity for you to meet your children’s teachers, as well as find out more about our curricular and extra-curricular programs. We are very much looking forward to connecting with you on this event.
