This week students in Grade 10 started to research Germany between the world wars for their IGCSE History Depth Study assignment. They are learning how to find reliable and valuable sources, how to correctly quote and refer to them when writing, and how to cite them in a bibliography or list of works cited. While, admittedly, it is not the most “exciting” part of curriculum
, these are skills the students need to perfect now that will be useful and mandatory in all classes in the years to come.
