Students in the Grade 8 Band have been working the past few weeks on using Notion to write a melody for their instrument, and then practicing transposing it to another instrument and key. Some students even went so far as to add triads underneath!
Last Thursday, all of the students performed their compositions, either by themselves or with their transposed instruments.
It was fun to hear everyone’s original ideas!
