The ABIS Community Service ASA had the opportunity to show our kindness as we spent quality time at the local Disabled Children’s Center here in Sohar on Monday, Oct. 31st. The purpose of this outreach visit is to develop connections and friendships within the local Omani community, aligning nicely with the ABIS mission and vision.
Community service students prepared some colorful, fun and engaging activities to do with the children. As you can see in the photos, face and body painting was a hit, as was making play-doe, Art (Coloring, Drawing, and face painting), and balloon games.
The children were glowing with smiles at each activity. And of course, the ABIS students enjoyed giving freely and actually doing “hands-on” Community Service! We hope we can spend more time with these children again soon. Keep checking for more to come with ABIS Community Service. Together we can make a difference!
