The Grade 9 history students are busy learning now! This week they mastered the art of writing an essay, with historical analysis and source documentation. Last week they wrote songs about the causes of the US Civil War, this week, they wrote about the war, and next week they will simulate soldiers from the Union and the Confederacy as they learn how wars can split cultures and families. The unit ends next week, with a look at President Abraham Lincoln, too.
