This week ABIS students had the opportunity to meet with young adult and baby book writer Lorie Ann Grover. She gave an inspiring presentation to our 6, 7, 8, 9, and 11 graders, and impressed students with her artistic vision and determination. In particular, they were amazed to learn that she had received over 300 rejections before she finally started getting her work published. A great example of not giving up and how to use our difficulties as inspiration. If you have one of our students in those grades, ask them about her. She really has a great message to share.
