In math class, we constructed polyhedrons (solid figures with many sides, usually more than six). We started to notice that they look a lot like tree ornaments and so, we decided to decorate our SLS bushy tree with them, along with some flickering lights.
Congratulations to the G7s for completing their 2nd exam of the year, which focussed on geometry and measures. Students practiced finding angles found within parallel lines and a traversal. They drew perpendicular bisectors and angle bisectors using a compass and a straightedge, laying the foundations of drafting, architecture, and design.
We’re just starting our next unit on Probability, a hands on unit of experimentation, data collection, analysis and a lot more.
Wishing you all happy holidays!
Best wishes,

Mr. Davis
