It’s time for another dress-up day! The Student Council has decided to hold Pyjama Day on Wednesday, 4th November. On this day, students from all grades are invited to come to school in their pyjamas. The event is designed to build school spirit and be a fund raiser/drive for Ghuras Voluntary Team, a local charity. Participating students are invited to make a donation between 100 baisas and 1 Rial, which can be given to their teacher or advisor, or bring a pair of new or used pyjamas in good condition. There are a few rules in place:
• Clothing should be “school appropriate,” meaning it must cover shoulders and knees and not be revealing.
• Clothing should be loose and not tight fitting.
• Students should come to school in appropriate shoes, but are allowed to bring slippers or any other comfortable shoes to wear inside.
If they wish, students are welcome to bring stuffed toys, pillows etc. as long as they are not a distraction in lessons. In previous years Pyjama Day has been a hit amongst students, so the Student Council is really pleased to do it again this year.
The event is voluntary, but we hope to see you in your PJs!
Sincerely,
Your ABIS Student Council
