Another exciting week of math as students strapped into their iPads for a Global online Mathletics competition this week. For the last 3 days, over 5 million students around the world participated in this friendly competition of Math skills sponsored by UNICEF. When the challenge was on you could hear ABIS students saying, “Cool, I’m playing against someone living in… Thailand or Brazil or New Zealand or China or England or Mexico or Saudi Arabia or Kenya…” And when a victory was made, you could see their hands raise up with excitement. Honestly, I have never seen students this excited about solving math problems!
