Following the Gd7’s reading of The Giver and discussing the qualities we value in our communities today, the students are now doing an assessment task where they are working in groups to build the community they see as ideal. At the moment they are working on their guiding principles and mission statement. They will be then looking at several key areas such as government, transportation, housing, recreation and education. I am very much looking forward to see how these tasks evolve!
