This week the action has been centered around the Primary Girls Inter House Basketball Competition. With 4 games completed the Desert Foxes are in the front seat with 2 wins and 6 points. In second are the Falcons with 4 points followed by the Dolphins and Leopards on 3 points.
In first round matchups the Desert Foxes scored a very tight win over the Falcons with Alla scoring in the final seconds for a 6 points to 4 win. In the other game the Leopards managed to fight back and score a 6-6 draw with the Dolphins. For the Dolphins JairaA scored all 6 points while Nicole scored all 6 for the Leopards.
In second round games the Falcons came out on top with a hard fought 6-4 win over the Leopards while the Desert Foxes were on fire to win in a high scoring game 14-10 over the Dolphins. Both games were exciting and close and it’s great to see all the girls putting in so much effort on the court.
Elsewhere in PE we have been keeping up the practice for our Sports Day. Next week we will hold the primary and secondary events for high jump, discuss and shot put.
