To find out more about our central idea, Our home planet differs from others in our solar system, we thought it would be a good idea to visit the Grade 6 class. They have just finished their space unit so they are experts on the planets in our solar system!
Before we went, we brainstormed relevant research questions:
We then went to see the Grade 6 class. First, they gave us a tour of the solar system model they made.
Then we were assigned planet experts. These experts helped us complete compare/contrast diagrams of a planet and our Earth.
