Grade 8 students chose a classic fairy tale to analyze from each of the Brothers Grimm, Charles Perrault and Hans Christian Anderson. Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Hansel and Gretal and Mother Holle were the most popular texts. Next week students will focus on one story and its various adaptions across cultures, medium and time periods.
