Please support the grade 1’s, as they do their part to make a difference in the world. Grade 1 is selling turtles in an effort to save sea turtles from extinction. You can purchase an:

Your name will be written on the turtle (larger donations will have the amount donated added) and placed on the bulletin board in the reception are of the school. The fundraiser will commence on June 17th and will finish on June 21st. Please give what you can in support of this cause.

Background
Did you know that some species of sea turtles were around before the dinosaurs? Did you also know that out of the 7 species of turtles 6 are classified endangered and 3 out of that 6 are classified critically endangered? Did you also know that only 1 in a thousand hatchlings actually make it past their first year of life? Not only do sea turtles have to contend with foxes, birds, and climate change, but with humans killing them for their shells and meat, steal their eggs by the thousands and build condominiums beside their nesting grounds. They get caught in fishing nets and drown. They eat plastic bags floating in the water and are getting choked out by chemicals and garbage in the waters.
Grade 1 thinks people should make the oceans and beaches a safer place for the sea turtles. Thank you in advance for your support.
