Wow!!! The second grade went on their first field trip today! We went to the beach here in Sohar!! It was a blast!! The children were looking for living things. No other instructions of how to do it were given. It was fabulous watching the different methods that the children were using as they searched. Some went further into the water looking for crabs, etc. Others dug into the edge of the water; while still others were busy further up on the beach. Two crabs and some seaweed were found. Considering how hot it was, these were great! A fun time was had by all. It was a successful field trip!!! The class will be going again later this year when it is cooler. We will compare our findings then.
