The Grade 4 and 5 students designed paper chains in groups of three to see which group could make the longest. It was a great chance for the students to practice their collaborative skills.

This week I introduced the 5 learning skills to our 4E students. Our classmates from 4A had done some work last week and acted out some social skills for us. We also held the hoop glider competition in STEAM today.

This week during math instruction the students learned to compare wholes and parts of the whole. We did this by creating a zoo and feeding the animals with fractional parts of meat.
