Can students learn by playing cards? Absolutely! All of Grade 4 came together for Math Game Thursday and practiced addition facts by playing Go Fish.

Among the many highlights this week was our Tuesday STEAM activity. In mixed groups the students designed pipe cleaner structures. The activity promoted collaboration and was a great way to begin our weekly STEAM sessions.

This week the students had to estimate the length of 1 cm and then use that estimate to calculate the time it would take various snails to get to their food source.

This week, the Grade 4 students helped their buddies create city landscapes in pencil. There was some great interaction between the classes and everyone looks forward to adding some color next time!
