A new year means a new book! Grade 2 voted on the newest book we would be reading together. After a serious debate, we decided on The Borrowers by Mary Norton. Before we started reading, we looked at the front and back cover. As you can see, this gave us a lot of Prior Knowledge.
We also did a lot of Questioning. We hope that our questions will be answered in the story. We wrote down our questions so we could remember what they were and check them off as we answer them.
