The Gr. 9 class was haunted this week by Billie Holiday’s musical rendition of Aber Meeropol’s poem Strange Fruit. We will be analyzing the literary techniques used in this poem, a short story by Lawrence Dunbar and Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have A Dream” speech before writing an analytical essay.
