We read the story of Mrs Hippo’s pizza parlor in relation to our fractions work. We explored halves and quarters and made pizzas. We cut vegetables first into half and then into quarters before dicing them small to top our pizza. The highlight of the activity was eating the pizza we had prepared ourselves.
