This week Grade 2 students worked hard on their UOI Weather Summative assessments. We practiced making bar and line graphs with the data we collected from different places around the world. Students then applied their skills and made a bar and line graph using the weather data they had collected from their city of choice. We used our thinking skills to find weather patterns and relationships between wind and temperature. We chose one element of weather to become an expert on and then read through our notes and used our weather flip book to answer questions about our chosen weather element. We then practiced giving a weather report by explaining our graph, weather patterns, weather impacts and weather predictions. We will continue recording the weather reports next week. Have a lovely weekend.
