Dear KG2 Families,

We hope you have all had a wonderful week! Here is a quick look at everything we have been up to in class over the past few days.

In Maths, the children have been working on different ways of making 5. In Phonics, we introduced the letter N n. The children loved listening to the story, singing the song, doing the actions, and using playdough to fill in the dots on their letter N n activity.

We also spent time learning about how to look after our bodies and stay healthy. We talked about habits that help our bodies and brains grow, looked at simple daily routines like proper handwashing and toothbrushing, and discussed how exercise, rest, and a good night’s sleep help us feel our best.

To make the week extra special, our school nurse visited our classroom! She led some fun, hands-on activities to show the children what healthy habits look like in everyday life. The children were so excited to bring home their “My Healthy Habits” checklist to share with you and practise at home.

Please feel free to click the link below to enjoy some photos of our learning from this WEEK 8

Wishing you all a lovely and restful break!

Warmest regards,

Ms. AlJabri & Ms. Maryam
