This week, we revised the key Maths concepts we have learned throughout the term. This gave us an opportunity to practise and strengthen our understanding.
In English, we used our reading skills and Golden Words to build and unscramble sentences. We focused on using capital letters and the correct punctuation, including full stops and question marks. We also completed some short writing tasks and practised reading our sentences aloud.
During our shared reading sessions, we worked in small groups and took turns reading and participating. We focused on building our vocabulary, listening carefully to others, and taking turns to answer questions about what we had read.
Regular reading at home, along with revising the Golden Words, really helps to support the children with these tasks. Please continue to practise the words and read together at home to help build confidence and support their progress.
We are also looking forward to our upcoming assembly! Please remember to prepare a costume or props for your child to wear or bring according to the letter they have been assigned. We can’t wait to see everyone ready for their special part!
