Today we celebrated our secondary counselor, Sharouq. It wasn’t just her birthday; she also found out that she passed her Psychology VIVA with the Ministry of Health. So, we are now lucky enough to be able to say that we have a licensed psychologist working for us at ABIS. This has been a two-year journey and a lot of hard work and very well deserved!
Reflecting on the SHINE programme and how hard Ms Sarah and Ms Willis have been working to complete all WIDA testing across the PYP and MYP. One hundred and fifty students (nearly) in just 3 weeks. Feel so grateful to have them on the SHINE team this year and look forward to their collaboration with grade teachers to help our students thrive at ABIS! Also a big thank you to Mary Ann, our PYP Coordinator, for diving into the G6 EAL and getting this intervention off the ground this week!
