What a very busy week we have had again! The students are doing very well to keep finding energy to do concert rehearsals, more assessments. lessons and- the fun part- dress up differently every day this week.
Our fun dress-up days are documented on Seesaw but we enjoyed Pyjama Day, Twin Day and then dressing as our future selves which brought the pleasant surprise that many students will become teachers! We also worked hard on cooperating to make identical masks, with certain conditions attached, for Twin Day.
Students returned to refresh their knowledge of place value and in particular, counting in tens. They were set another challenge to plan and make a game that would be scored with groups of ten. They worked well together, came up with some fun games and then everyone rotated around, testing out every other group’s game.
Added to all this we have been trying to complete assessments and students have been very committed to rehearsing their songs for the Summer Concert. Well done everyone.
