Broadcaster – This Week in KG2

This week, we introduced 3D shapes and explored the difference between 2D and 3D shapes. The students took part in a hands-on activity to investigate which shapes roll and which shapes slide, helping them understand how 3D shapes behave.

Our main focus was on the cube, and the children had the opportunity to build cubes in different ways — using toothpicks and clay, as well as Magnatiles. This allowed them to explore the structure of a cube in a fun and engaging way.

It was a wonderful week of hands-on learning and discovery in math!
