This week, we started a PSHE unit exploring the ethics behind using AI. The students defined key terms outlined in the ABIS AI policy and then generated statements about responsible and irresponsible uses in school. This was the first lesson in a series on using AI as a learning tool, not a replacement. AI is becoming integral to our lives, so students must learn to use it properly. Next week we will explore how to spot AI-generated information and images, including looking at fake news and the negative impacts of its use on our ideas and perceptions.
