1. This Week in Our Learning:
• We started our new unit. We have read the first two acts of An Inspector Calls by J.B. Priestley. We have focused on the characters what they learn and what we learn about them through their language choices. We are focused on exploring the ways in which drama provide us with example of cultural views and expectations.
2. Looking Ahead:
• Next week, we will finish reading the drama and move onto exploring our role in society. What restrictions do we face? How about those around us? What role does personal agency play in all of this? How much of it is determined by where or to whom we were born?We have many questions and a few challenging conversations to explore before the end of this unit.
