Dear Parents,
This week in Kindergarten Physical Education, our little learners enjoyed a wonderful balance of movement, mindfulness, and water confidence.
We are delighted to see their confidence growing in the water and overcoming their initial fears. They splashed, explored, and kept trying movements in the water, demonstrating curiosity and bravery as true risk-takers.
Alongside swimming, we also began an initiation to yoga. The children were introduced to simple yoga poses connected to the alphabet, turning movement into a playful and meaningful learning experience. Through this activity, students practiced body awareness, balance, and focus while having lots of fun.
As their interest and confidence grow, we hope to extend this activity further by encouraging the children to spell simple nouns using yoga poses, working together and supporting one another. This will allow them to continue developing their social skills, collaboration, and communication through movement.
It has been a joyful and enriching week, and we look forward to continuing this journey of learning, creativity, and physical development with the children.
Thank you for your continued support.
Warm regards,
Ms. Nuria
