Dear KG2 Families,
As always, we are happy to share our learning from this week.
During our Unit of Inquiry, we continued exploring the food chain. The children are beginning to understand how living things depend on each other. They created simple food chains such as:
Sun → Corn → Chicken → Human
Sun → Grass → Goat → Human
It was lovely to see them making connections and explaining their thinking.
We also started learning about the plant life cycle and how plants grow and change. We will continue building our understanding of this concept in the coming weeks.
In Math, we introduced the Myrtle the Turtle game. The focus of the game is “five and more,” and the children enjoyed adding two numbers together in a fun and engaging way.
