• We have started reviewing for exams. I cannot believe they are only three months away. The students are specifically preparing for their individual oral presentation and they each did a practice presentation. We should take a moment to say “Well Done!” to Amanda for an excellent practice presentation. They should all have come away from this with a clearer understanding of what they need to change. The goal is that next month when we do the official oral presentation, they all walk away with satisfactory, if not exemplary, presentations.
2. Looking Ahead:
• The official oral is in three weeks. They have already made their selections and should be using the time to solidify their understanding of authorial choices, the global issue, and producing a balanced presentation. We will also start practicing paper one and paper two from next week.
