IB Visual Arts students are currently completing their second exhibition artwork, an important requirement for their Internal Assessment. It has been exciting to see a wide range of media being explored, from ceramics to printmaking techniques, as students develop personal and meaningful outcomes.

Grade 8 students made the most of the beautiful weather by taking their learning outdoors, focusing on drawing cast shadows of plants. This activity strongly connects to their first unit on nature in printmaking, helping students observe light, form, and texture more closely.

Grade 10 students are nearing completion of Task 1 of their ePortfolio, which focuses on artwork comparison and visual analysis, strengthening their critical thinking and analytical skills.

This week also marked the visit of the IB Evaluation Team, who observed our classes and provided very positive initial feedback. We are proud of our students’ engagement and creative progress and look forward to another week of inspiring artistic learning ahead.
