This week, the students wrote a story in their journals, and the topic was a dragon! We learned new skills, namely the use of transition words in a story. These words help the students create a clear beginning, middle, and end, improving the structure of their writing. It was wonderful to see their creativity and enthusiasm shine through their stories.

We ended the week with our first Assembly of the school year. Standing on a stage and speaking in front of so many people takes courage, and the students showed that they are true risk-takers. I am very proud of them.
