In grade 8 Advisory sessions in the next few weeks, we are going to be doing activities and thinking around digital citizenship and everything we need to consider to stay safe online.
We have looked at digital privacy and thought about whether our activity online is actually private. Whilst the students of today are very digitally savvy, a few of the points were a surprise to them and generated interesting discussions.
Their job now is to take action and create information/infographic posters to raise awareness in our ABIS community.
We are also starting to plan our next Service As Action ‘Undertake Challenges That Develop New Skills.’ This is an exciting opportunity for growth and some of the students’ ideas are really innovative! More to come in the following weeks…
