WE MADE IT!
Sixteen weeks of learning and I am very proud of all Grade 1C have achieved in those past weeks. They have shown continued commitment to learning English and have made amazing progress. They are willing to take on new challenges and use their thinking skills in different ways as they develop the skills to be proficient inquirers.
This week we had a fantastic time at Sports Day where everyone did their best, cheered on their team mates and enjoyed all the fun activities. After, children worked in groups and recorded their experience by drawing and writing as they talked over the events.
Students have really made a big effort to cooperate and help one another during the different lessons and activities we do at school. They have become better able to do things by themselves and show each other how to do things too, which is marvellous. They worked in pairs using an ipad app to make a video this week and I was very impressed how many did this without support. They spoke about the Earth, using new vocabulary and displaying the knowledge acquired in the past weeks.
