Broadcaster Update – Our Skeleton Learning
Last week, the students had the opportunity to work collaboratively to build a skeleton puzzle. This week, they received a picture of a human body outline and drew a skeleton inside it. During our discussion, we asked the question, “Why do we have a skeleton?”
Some of their thoughtful answers included:
🦴 “It protects our brain.”
🦴 “For moving our body to run.”
🦴 “So we can walk.”
🦴 “To dance!”
The children are developing their understanding of how our skeleton helps us move, stand, and stay safe!
