Dear KG2 Families,
Here we are again with another weekly update on our little ones’ learning journey. 🌟 As you know, we are in our unit “Who We Are.”
This week, the children enjoyed the story “From Head to Toe” by Eric Carle. They listened carefully, chose a character, and copied the animal’s action using different body parts. It was wonderful to see them moving, laughing, and engaging with the story.
Another highlight was the Mat Man activity, where the children created their own Mat Man using cutting and coloring paper. This supported their creativity as well as fine motor development.
In Literacy, we introduced the letter P. The children made a fun pizza craft and enjoyed tracing and coloring activities related to the letter.
In Mathematics, we explored the concept of Heavy and Light. The children learned how to use a balance scale to measure objects and decide if they are heavy or light. They also made real-life connections by giving examples from around the classroom to show their understanding.
