Dear Parents,

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Parent Coffee Morning and Workshop this week. We were absolutely thrilled to see our highest ever attendance, and it was wonderful to have so many of you engaging in meaningful conversations about our school and our students’ learning journeys.

We hope you found the morning both useful and insightful. Your presence and input play a vital role in building the strong partnerships that are essential to our success as a community. At ABIS, we believe that when parents, students, and teachers work closely together, we create the very best environment for our students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

The discussions during the workshop were very valuable. Hearing your perspectives helps us reflect on our practices and shape the future of our school. Your involvement makes a real difference, and we are grateful for the time and energy you dedicate to supporting our school.

This week we held our first House Competition of the academic year, and it was fantastic to see the energy, teamwork, and school spirit on display. House events are an important part of our school community, as they give students the chance to connect across year groups, build friendships, and develop a strong sense of belonging. It also promotes leadership and student voice by encouraging each grade to take turns in organising events. This week, our Diploma Students organised a dodgeball competition which saw the Blue House Team, ‘Dolphins’ take first place!
