Dear KG2 Families,

As you know, every Thursday we are happy to share updates about our learning journey for the week.

First of all, we send our best wishes for a speedy recovery to the children who were not able to attend school this week. We look forward to seeing them back with us soon.

This week, our learning experiences included:

  • Literacy: We introduced the sound of the letter “a” and practiced how to form the letter. The children enjoyed listening to a story, singing the letter song with actions, and creating a collage linked to “a for apple.”

  • Mathematics: Our focus was on measurement. The children compared objects using the words “tall” and “short.” We also introduced the number 2 through a fun rhyme: “Around the track and back again, that’s how we write number two.”

  • Unit of Inquiry (Who We Are): Our big idea this week was growth and change. It was wonderful to hear our young learners share their thoughts about what babies and toddlers can do, and begin to understand the changes that happen as we grow. We will continue to explore this further in the coming weeks.

Gentle reminders:

  • Please keep your child at home when they are unwell to allow for full recovery.

  • On swimming days, kindly send your child dressed and ready for their lesson.

We truly appreciate your support and wish you and your family a lovely weekend.

Warm regards,

Ms.AlJabri & Ms.Maryam
